Privacy Policy
Effective date: 1 September 2026
This policy describes what Amvix does with personal information. The short version is that the site itself collects none, and this page explains precisely what that means and what happens instead.
1. Who is responsible
Amvix (amvix.online) is operated by:
- Lerifin corporation s.r.o.
- Zrzavého 1705/2a, Řepy, 163 00 Praha 6, Czech Republic
- Company number: 08211752
- VAT: CZ08211752
- Email: info@amvix.online
Lerifin corporation s.r.o. decides what happens to the limited information described below and is the organisation to contact about it.
2. What is collected
There are three categories, and there are no others.
Nothing collected through the site itself
Amvix has no contact form, no newsletter, no search box, no quiz, no account, no comment facility and no input field of any kind. It sets no cookies, and it uses no localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or browser fingerprinting. It runs no analytics service, no advertising tag and no conversion pixel. Nothing about your visit is recorded by us, and nothing is stored in your browser. The cookie policy covers this in more detail.
Server logs kept by the hosting provider
Like any website, Amvix is served by a hosting provider whose servers keep ordinary access logs. Each entry records the IP address the request came from, the browser's user agent string, the URL requested, the response code, and the date and time. These logs are generated automatically as a normal part of operating a web server. They are used only to keep the site running and secure — diagnosing faults, and identifying abusive traffic such as automated attacks.
Correspondence you choose to send
If you write to info@amvix.online, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you put in the message. You decide what that contains. Please do not send passwords, payment details or identity documents; nothing we can help with requires them.
3. Why, and on what basis
Server logs are processed to keep the website available, to investigate errors and to protect against attacks and abuse. Where European data protection law applies to this processing, the basis is our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site. No consent basis is relied upon anywhere, because the site sets no cookies and runs no tracking — there is nothing for you to consent to.
Correspondence is processed to read and answer your message, and to keep a record of what was raised in case you write again about the same matter.
4. How long it is kept
- Server logs: retained by the hosting provider for up to 90 days, then deleted or overwritten in the ordinary course of log rotation.
- Email correspondence: retained for up to 24 months from the last message in the exchange, then deleted. Correspondence relating to a legal claim or a regulator's enquiry is kept until that matter is concluded.
- Everything else: there is nothing else, because nothing else is collected.
5. Who else receives information
Two parties, and no others. We sell nothing, share nothing for marketing, and run no advertising network on this site.
The hosting provider
Our hosting provider operates the servers that deliver these pages and therefore holds the access logs described above. It processes them on our instructions for the purposes of hosting and security.
Google, for the web fonts
Amvix loads two typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests those font files from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and the standard request headers your browser sends. Google sets no cookie through this request, and we receive nothing back from it. Google's handling of that data is described in its own privacy policy. This is the only external service any page on this site contacts.
Cross-border disclosure
Both recipients are located outside Australia. Server infrastructure for this site is operated in Europe, and Google operates globally, including in the United States. Under Australian Privacy Principle 8, this means information described in this policy may be disclosed to overseas recipients. We take reasonable steps to use providers that handle data consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, but you should be aware that the information may be held and processed outside Australia.
6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so the connection between your browser and the server is encrypted. Access to the mailbox and to the hosting account is limited to personnel of Lerifin corporation s.r.o. who need it, and is protected by strong, unique credentials with multi-factor authentication where the provider supports it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
7. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may ask us for access to any personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. In practice that will normally be an email exchange, because that is all there is. Write to info@amvix.online and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal information or your request, raise it with us first so we have the opportunity to fix it. If it remains unresolved, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which regulates privacy under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and explains its complaint process on its website.
8. Data breaches
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm to an individual whose information we hold, we will assess it and, where the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme applies, notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as that scheme requires.
9. Children
Amvix is written for adults making decisions about household devices and purchases. It is not directed at children, it collects nothing from anyone, and it therefore collects nothing from people under 16.
10. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom
Lerifin corporation s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so the General Data Protection Regulation applies to its processing. The legal basis relied on for the server logs described above is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) — specifically, keeping the website available and secure. Correspondence is processed on the same basis, our interest being in answering the message you sent us.
Where the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to you, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing carried out on the legitimate interests basis. Requests go to info@amvix.online. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), and in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new effective date at the top. Substantive changes — a new recipient of data, a new category of collection, or the introduction of any cookie — will be described on the page rather than folded in silently, and in the case of cookies would be accompanied by a consent mechanism put in place before any cookie is set.
12. Contact
Privacy questions, access requests and complaints: info@amvix.online, addressed to Lerifin corporation s.r.o., Zrzavého 1705/2a, Řepy, 163 00 Praha 6, Czech Republic.
